LUMIBRICKS formerly known as FUNWHOLE presents us today with a true masterpiece !
Let's rediscover the brand through its new Set l9085 The new Brick Art Gallery . An impressive 3400-piece set, designed for ages 16+ , and conceived as a true exhibition building in a distinctly French style. The model comprises three levels , each dedicated to a different artistic atmosphere: a shop on the ground floor, a gallery of works inspired by Van Gogh on the first floor, and a space devoted to Dadaism in the attic.

The building incorporates the aesthetic codes of Parisian/Haussmannian architecture, with a refined façade and a perfectly reproduced zinc roof , even including dormer windows that offer glimpses of some of the artworks. The result is remarkably elegant and coherent.
Opening the box & its contents
Upon opening the box, you'll find the packaging is as meticulously designed and truly premium as ever. The bags are numbered in stages, 17 in total (but here again, they're plastic, not paper like LEGO sets) .
The set includes:
8 exclusive Lumibricks figurines , including a really beautiful Gold minifigure .
A box dedicated to lighting the Set (except for batteries not supplied, nor batteries from Lumibricks) .
A metal clip for easy LED installation.
A sturdy and practical brick remover .
And above all: three superb instruction manuals , remarkable printing, with a quality that rivals premium brands (although there may sometimes be a slight difficulty in correctly identifying the correct colors).
Instructions & first steps
The three instruction manuals are clear, detailed, and a pleasure to read. The paper weight is impressive; it feels like a high-end book. The assembly process is smooth and precise. Each step is well-defined (perhaps even a little too much at times, as this contributes to the package's weight) . It's clear that Lumibricks has now mastered the ergonomics of assembly. The beginning of the build quickly reveals the building's imposing structure and the first architectural details.
The quality of the parts & screen prints
As is typical with Lumibricks: no stickers . The set is composed entirely of screen-printed pieces , and the quality is truly exceptional. The colors are vibrant and crisp, and the printing is precise. The feel of the bricks, their density, the clutch power… is impeccable, practically identical to the Danish brand. No flaws were found, no missing pieces, nothing to report. Lumibricks is absolutely on point, well done!
A rich interior: boutique, artworks and sculptures

Ground floor: the shop
The ground floor replicates a small art shop. Counter, shelves, accessories, everything is there to create the atmosphere.
First floor: a tribute to Van Gogh
It's one of the most impressive and immersive spaces. It features several works inspired by the master, including a self-portrait on the facade , superbly rendered in brick. The layout creates a warm, almost museum-like atmosphere.

Top floor: ceramics and Dadaism
The upper level features a beautiful variety of sculptures and pieces inspired by Dadaism. It's a very original part of the set that adds a real artistic personality to the whole. The fact that it's located under the eaves further reinforces the intimate feel of this exhibition.
A HUGE YES! Each floor opens completely from the back, offering exemplary gameplay and allowing for truly to project oneself into the universe, especially at nightfall with all the lights on.
Let's talk about lighting, LEDs: a major asset
The integrated LED system is perfectly designed. The lights are conceived to highlight the artworks and exhibits. Installation is made easy thanks to a multitude of components designed to accommodate them and facilitate cable routing. The included metal clamp aids installation, which sometimes requires nimble fingers. The final result truly enhances the model. The light filters through the windows, illuminates the paintings, and emphasizes the structures: it's perfectly balanced and expertly orchestrated without being overwhelming.

The Lumibricks minifigures
This set includes no fewer than 8 Lumibricks minifigures , each with its own unique style. Special mention goes to the Gold minifigure , which adds a touch of collector's flair. The printing is crisp, the design is well-crafted, and the overall effect makes the set even more vibrant. It's true that opinions can sometimes be quite divided regarding the minifigure design. Like you, we were a bit taken aback at first, being used to the Danish minifigure style, but over time these little characters have become quite endearing with their chubby bellies and sausage-like arms – you either love them or hate them.

Perfect integration into a city
The imposing building blends seamlessly into a cityscape, even one featuring LEGO sets , and especially into the world Lumibricks has been developing for the past few years. Between the theater , the newsstand , the florist with his car , and the antique shop , the architectural style remains consistent. The art gallery adds another dimension to this already high-quality world and further solidifies Lumibricks' status as a major player in the industry.
